| Philly girls Nancy Becker and Pam Derderian, co-founders and principal partners of "15 Minutes" Inc., launched P. Girl Projects to develop creative content and branded entertainment for new media and cross-promotional marketing platforms. |
To help raise consciousness about climate change, Derderian and Becker joined hands with LEED accredited green-build expert Shar Olivier to create PlanIt Greener, a touring educational exhibition showcasing stylish and eco-friendly products and services for home builders and consumers. |
In partnership with Billie Jean King and Ilana Kloss, the pair launched GreenSlam to harness the power of sports to build a positive force for environmental change and to support green collar work opportunities for underserved people. |
Herstory: Becker and Derderian are not new to niche and cause marketing. They matched Subaru with Showtime's The L Word by integrating the brand into the first two seasons of this groundbreaking television series. As co-founders of the Visa Rainbow Card, they created and managed unprecedented national advertising, promotions, internet, grass roots and event marketing initiatives for the credit card program and its corporate affiliates: Subaru of America; CitiBank; Visa USA; British Airways; Orbitz and MBNA. As a result, the Rainbow Endowment was responsible for contributing over $2 million for socially relevant causes. They hope the world becomes a greener, safer place for their daughter to thrive and learn to give back to her communities.
